    Yes it is, the app is free to use for passengers and staff.

    Are there future plans for RailQ? What's next?

    Yes, there are future plans. This is the first release, in the next version we are looking to bring user feedback, the ability to upload custom messages for stations and also safety advice. There are other features planned for future releases too.

    Are queues at train stations being assessed regularly? How will I know if it's reliable?

    Yes, we’re informing station staff to update the queuing levels at stations at least every 30 minutes, so that you will know beforehand whether they will affect your journey. Station staff have to register themselves onto the app before they can update queuing data.
